Pre-Columbian, Western Mexico, Colima circa 100 BC - 250 AD. Red over cream slip Chinesco seated mourner, depicted with arms crossed over raised knees. He has unusually incised long hair and painted face representing tattoos. Size 3 1/4" H x 2 1/4" W. Condition: Overall very good condition.. Provenance: ex-private Baker collection, San Diego California USA. Formed in the 1960's.. ex-Private California collector, Authenticity Guaranteed by Scollard Auctions.
