5/29/2008 - More than Forty Vintage, Restored Tractors to Cross the Auction Block
 
Omaha, NE — May 29, 2008 — Proxibid, a premier provider of live auction webcasting services, today announced that it will provide live online bidding for an upcoming auction of vintage tractors, collector vehicles and stationary engines.  The live auction, hosted by Ophus Auction Service, will take place Friday, June 6 at 1:00 p.m. MDT near Power, MT.  Pre-bidding and absentee bidding for this auction are already available on Proxibid.

This is the living estate auction of Walter Mast, a very meticulous collector who has acquired a number of rare, vintage tractors and vehicles.  The collection consists of 41 vintage tractors, of which 17 are restored John Deere 2-cyclinder tractors.  Seven collector vehicles are also up for bid including cars, pickups and wagons from the 1940’s and 1950’s.  Vehicle makes include Chevy, Dodge, Jeep and GMC.  Also available for live online bidding are two stationary engines, one which is a 4 Horse Power Type D Triumph Line hit-and-miss engine.  It was built approximately in 1918 by The Root & Vandervoort Engine Co. for the John Deere Plow Company.

•    Lot #16 – 1938 John Deere model A, restored, Power Take-Off (PTO), Power-Trol, original skeleton steel wheels, Serial No. 471526;
•    Lot #18 – 1936 John Deere model D, restored, PTO, all original round spoke wheels, new 13.6-28 tires, Serial No. 128815;
•    Lot #21 – 1954 McCormick Farmall Super M-TA, restored, wide front, new torque amplifier and clutch, PTO, power steering, new 13.6-38 front tires, Serial No. 75748;
•    Lot #22 – 1955 John Deere model 80, styled and restored, 2 Hyd, power steering, 18.4-34 tires, Serial No. 8000647;
•    Lot #31 – 1958 John Deere model 820, styled and restored, diesel engine with new rings and bearings, valve job, power steering, PTO, 2 Hyd, new 18.4-34 front tires, Serial No. 8205002.
