All payments are to be made within three (3) days of the auction.
Payments accepted are: Cash, Traveler’s check, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Personal or Business check. Sterling Auction Hsoue (SAH) reserves the right to hold item(s) until check clears. This applies to first time buyers paying by check. The purchaser is legally responsible for payment. Potential buyer’s of expensive lots may wish to discuss payment prior to auction. All items must be paid for prior to items being picked up for shipping.
Failure to complete payment may result in legal proceedings and most definitely will result in non-issuance of a bidding number in the future. A $30.00 fee will be added for any returned checks. If a check fails to clear after the second deposit, the purchaser will be responsible for any and all fees incurred during the collection process.
All purchases are subject to the New York sales tax of 8.125%, unless the purchaser possess a Tax Exemption/Resale Number or is out of state.

Shipping, handling and packing are the sole responsibility of the buyer. All property must be removed from SAH by the purchaser at their expense no later than 7 (seven) days after the auction. Fess will apply for any item(s) not picked up after 7 (seven) days unless arrangements have been made.
