The book is an autobiography of the famous World War II Marine Corps flying ace, winner of the Congressional Medal of Honor and the Navy Cross, and leader of the Black Sheep Squadron. Generally recognized as one of the classic World War II memoirs. Very fine condition in a fresh, bright dust jacket. An unread copy. Estimated value $500 US.

This is the Original. It was made in Hungary during the early 1960s. Comes MINT with it's original MINT box. When the friction powered rocket runs into an object the tip activates a spring loaded device that raises the rocket up into a vertical position. The ladder comes down and an astronaut appears. Stands approx. 15" tall.
