Lot # 2

???? Hardcover - "Pfaffenspiegel"

???? Hardcover - "Pfaffenspiegel. Historische Denkmale des Fanatismus in der römisch-katholischen Kirche" Otto von Corvin EDITION: Fifth Edition "5. Auflage Volks-Ausgabe" on Cover. Seventh Revision - "Siebente Rufs(l)age Volfs-Ausgabe" on title page. PUBLISHER: Verlag von A. Bock. CONDITION: Cover spotted. Worn at bottom corners. Pages tanned and spotted with lines (appears as if something within the paper is discoloring in straight lines). Small corner folds on about 30 consecutive pages. Binding tight. NOTES: On 3/12/08 I removed the date "1879?". Have tried numerous ways to date this book but I'm getting confusing information from various sources on the internet. Must be somewhere between 1879 (latest date I found within the book) and 1941 (latest date of a later revision - but they had no reference to edition). Found several sources with the same revision, again, without reference to Edition, with various dates.
