Bleuette, With Bisque Socket Head, Blue Glass Sleep Eyes, Mohair Lashes

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 1 of 276)      

The doll, 27 cm., is marked "Unis France 60 71 149 8/0" on the head, "2" on torso, and "1" on feet, and is wearing an original Bleuette costume from the 1950 era, similar to "Fleur des Champs" of the Summer 1955 catalog. The dress is of peach rayon printed with colorful field flowers and has an organdy collar, along with Bleuette straw bonnet, chemise, socks, and brown leather shoes marked "2". The doll is from the 1925 era.

The doll has bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, mohair lashes, mohair wig, pate, composition jointed body. The doll, 27 cm, is marked "Unis France 60 71 149 8/0" on the head, "2" on the torso, and "1" on the feet, and is presented in an original Bleuette trunk with a variety of original Gautier-Langereau costumes from the 1935-1950''s era: muslin slip, socks and brown leather original shoes, "Premiere Valse" gown, "Uniforme" dress with belt and hat (no band), blue navy coat with two brass buttons, and cotton school dress. Bleuette is from the 1925 era.
