10" Unusual carved wooden artist's mannequin doll with yarn hair, sculpted and painted facial features, shapely female torso, swivel waist, dowel-jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips, knees, ankles and wrists. The classic mannequin body appears to have originated in the early 19th century, if not before, and is the model upon which the Bru deposed wooden poupee body was styled.
