WWII M1 Garand Bayonet (Cut down Version) with Sheath, Web Belt and First Aid Kit-Named

Lot #256 (Sale Order 258 of 258)

The bayonet is named to Staff Sergeant Scully, who served with an Engineering detachment, August 1943. The bayonet has been cut down to the 10 inch version. Manufactured by the Union Fork and Hoe Company. Bayonet is marked US and dated 1943. Ordinance emblem on reverse side of blade. Sheath has ordinance logo with US on it as well as Sgt. Scully's name. First aid pouch is stamped A-21 on inside of flap. Also has vet's name and unit written inside. Comes with dressing bandage. This is a Carlisle bandage. Pouch shows wear and is tattered. Web belt shows wear. Has US stamped on it.
