Payment



Immediate Payment

Payment details can be found on the “Info” button under where you place your bid online. Auction companies that accept credit cards will request your information during the bidding process and will charge your card immediately following the auction if you win the item. Shipping charges may be billed separately. Auction Companies that do not accept credit cards will include detailed instructions as to how to make payment at the close of the auction.


Non-payment

Buying at auction is different from buying retail. Once the auction is over, unwanted items cannot easily be resold. Any bidder who does not make payment in a timely manner may be flagged in the Proxibid system and could be prevented from bidding in future auctions. Proxibid will work with you and the Auction Company to arrange payment if there is miscommunication. It is Proxibid’s intent to ensure both the Auction Company and the bidder are satisfied with each transaction.
