1969 BMW R69US. PREVIEW OF THE COMPLETELY RESTORED BIKE! SHIPPING TO YOUR HOME PROVIDED BY JC MOTORS. Walneck's Restoration in Progress presents restoration enthusiasts with a unique opportunity to observe a restoration in its entirety. When all is said and done, the fully restored 1969 BMW R69US will be auctioned on the web, as well as in a live auction at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days July 27-29 in Lexington, Ohio. Proceeds from the auction will go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Contributors to the project include: Velocity Motorcycles, JC Motors, Bench Mark Works, Bore Tech, proxibid, AMA, Deer Ridge Golf Club, and Buchanon's Spokes and Rims. Payment

All items sold "as-is", "where-is" and no warranty is provided. All sales are final. There will be an 13% buyer’s premium for online sales. Payment in full in US dollars, is due on the evening of the sale. Acceptable terms for online sales are: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express or an irrevocable bank letter of credit guaranteeing your check. ***For credit cards, AMA will charge a $500.00 deposit to your credit card at time of registration. The $500 will be applied to your purchase(s). If no purchases are made, your deposit will be refunded within fifteen days of the sale. The irrevocable bank letter of credit must be currently dated, addressed to the American Motorcyclist Association, and include the account number on which the check will be drawn and the amount of funds to be covered by the guarantee. Payment is due in full on the evening of the sale. Failure to have the bike shipped will result in a daily storage fee of $300 plus the shipping fee. 5)There will be an 13% buyer’s premium with 1% paid to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Payment in full is due on the evening of the sale. Acceptable terms are: cash, bank checks (this seems to be the best method of secure payment - the checks are made payable to yourself and frequently done in increments of $2000 to $5000, depending on how much you plan to spend), travelers checks, or an irrevocable bank letter of credit guaranteeing your check. The letter must be currently dated, addressed to the Dominion Enterprises, and include the account number on which the check will be drawn and the amount of funds to be covered by the guarantee. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. 6)Bidders who bid from offsite and are not present at the live auction or preview understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item as well as if they examined it in person.
