Item Details
This vintage special interest motorcycle is the full and correct restoration of a California Highway Patrol Motorcycle. The motorcycle was restored by the owner - a 10 year project which was completed in 2007. It features all original CHP police equipment such as siren, Motorola radio with antenna, emergency lighting, storage boxes, seat and Goodyear Speed Grip tires (as required by the State of California for CHP motorcycles in 1967). In addition to the black and white paint scheme, original CHP logo decals (1967 era) are attached to the gas tanks. The motorcycle was entered in the Arlen Ness Motorcycle Show in San Jose, California, where it received a First Place award. A special feature of this motorcycle includes a hidden programmable police scanner (inside of the radio box) which broadcasts police calls via the police radio speaker. This motorcycle is pristine in every way. It is a true collectors item.
