4 Compartment Fedoskino Box
Very beautiful Fedoskino box. This is made from paper mache, then covered many times with linseed oil, and many layers of laquer. The scene is of a russian fairy tale depicting Troika's as the main theme. Troikas are the traditional winter conveyance of this region of the world, a horse drawn buggy with three horses laynard abreast .The 3 lids open up on the top and there is a little drawer that opens as well from the front.
