REGISTRATION: Proper and complete online registration is required to bid. All bidders must provide name, address, phone number, and email address to register. A credit card (MC or Visa) is required to place a bid. The credit card will be validated before bidding access is granted and is the only acceptable form of payment. By registering, all bidders acknowledge having read and agree to be bound by the Auction Terms and Conditions. BIDDING ONLINE: Online bidding is offered prior to AND during the live on-site auction. (If you need assistance placing an online bid or prefer to submit an online bid in person, please call our office for assistance. 816-781-1134) To place a bid, bidders enter their “maximum” bid and click the “Place” button. Each time that bidder is outbid by someone else the system will automatically bid on their behalf at the established bid increments up to their personal maximum. This process continues through the live onsite auction as well. The Auctioneer does not know any bidder’s maximum bid. The system will not advance a bidder’s own bid. BUYER'S PREMIUM: There is a 10% buyer’s premium charged on items purchased through online bidding. The buyer’s premium is calculated on the high bid. The purchase price paid by the successful online bidder is the sum of the winning bid and the buyer’s premium. PAYMENT: The acceptable forms of payment are MasterCard and Visa. The credit card entered at registration will be charged for all purchases and shipping/handling (if applicable) at the close of the auction and a paid receipt will be emailed to the buyer. PICK-UP OR SHIPPING: Successful online bidders will be asked in their confirmation email if they will be picking up their items or prefer to have them shipped. When no preference is indicated, items will be shipped according to the process below. NOTE: Furniture items, equipment and rugs cannot be shipped and must be picked up. Shipping is only available for addresses in the continental U.S. PICK-UP: Buyers choosing this option must pick up their items at the sale premises (314 Stillhouse Road, Liberty, MO) on Wednesday, June 22nd, from 12 to 4pm. A paid receipt and proof of identification are required. Packing and loading services are not offered. It is the buyer’s responsibility to disassemble or uninstall items as required. SHIPPING/HANDLING: Buyers choosing this option will receive their items via United States Postal Service at the billing address provided at online registration (continental U.S. only). Insurance is available on request at published USPS rates. Shipping is not available on furniture, equipment or rugs. Shipping cost is charged to the credit card provided at online registration and is calculated on the total value of items won, inclusive of the buyer’s premium based on the following chart: $12 per item for the first 5 items $8 per item thereafter NOTE: One lot may contain multiple items Failure to pick up or accept shipping charges for an item does not negate the contractual obligations of the high bidder and no refunds will be given. The Auctioneer and seller reserve the right to retain unclaimed items and dispose of them in whatever manner they see fit, including resale. All sketches and dimensions are approximate. No liability for its accuracy, errors or omissions is assumed by the Seller or the auction company. All bidders are responsible for conducting their own inspections, investigations, inquiries and due diligence concerning items of interest. Items are sold without contents unless described otherwise. Items may be viewed one hour prior to the start of the live onsite auction.
