Packing and shipping will be handled in-house on smaller items. There will be a $2 PER LOT packing charge. For exceptionally heavy, fragile, awkward, or those that consist of large numbers of items, such as sets of dishes, the packing charge will be based on the amount of materials and labor required. The actual cost of the postage will be added to the packing charge to determine the total shipping charge. You always have the option of picking up your items at our offices and we will waive the charge if you do. Just let us know as we pack and ship very quickly after the auction. Our carriers of choice are FedEx Ground and USPS, whichever is most economical. If you have other shipping preferences, please let us know and we will try to accommodate them. 1. Black and Gold Auctions will make every effort to accurately describe items including condition, age, and any other pertinent information. All items have been carefully examined and we note any damage or wear found that we feel is significant. Normal wear, straw marks, and manufacturing flaws are not noted unless they are substantial. Proxibid resizes photos to a maximum size of 1024 pixels. THERE ARE LARGER HIGH DEFINITION PHOTOS ON OUR WEBSITE IF YOU WANT TO SEE DETAILS MORE CLEARLY. RETURNS...
Returns are allowed if there is a significant flaw in the item that was not mentioned or if the item is not what it was represented to be. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt if there are any problems and we will direct you as to the return process. RETURN SHIPPING IS THE BUYER'S RESPONSIBILITY.
THE DISCLAIMER...
Black and Gold Auctions will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold AS IS and that they may not return any item they purchase unless there is a material damage not noted or misrepresentation.
TECHNICAL FAILURES...
Black and Gold Auctions is providing Internet prebidding and live bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Black and Gold Auctions or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the live auction. Black and Gold Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction begins. The auction company does not see your maximum bid, it is kept by the Proxibid system. Black and Gold Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
