1950's Quinn Epperly "Last Last Fuel Injection Special" 1950's Indy Race Car Made for Bill Vukovich (The year he died in the Indy 500 Race) Currently on Exhibit in a Museum - "The Last Fuel injection Special" - This car was built by Quinn Epperly for Bill Vukovich to race in the infamous Indy 500 race. This car was decades ahead of its time structure and technology wise. The car was the first of its kind to adopt aerodynamic principals. This project was led by Quinn Epperly, and this car was being built with the idea in mind that it would be Bill Vukovich's THIRD Indy 500 victory, and that this car would win the race with him. Unfortunately, this car was not finished in time to be raced, and that year Bill Vukovich died during the race in a fatal crash. Please read the car specs (see photos). This car is not only an iconic piece of race history, but this vehicle is actually thought of as "The car that could have saved Bill Vukovich's Life." This vehicle has been on exhibit in a museum for over 10 years, and is stored indoors. The vehicle is pristine, and belongs on exhibit, in a premier collection. The design of this car, the masterminds that built it and the history behind it make this car a once in a lifetime investment opportunity. You will never find another Indy 500 race car with this kind of history, and you most certainly will never be presented with the opportunity to buy one again. Payment
You can call: (760)610-4175 to make payment or you will receive a separate invoice,that will allow you to pay online. Everything MUST be paid for in full with in 48 hours of the end of the auction. Bidder further agrees that under no circumstances will he/she initiate a charge-back on his/her credit card.
A 35% reselling fee will be applied to items not paid in full by the Tuesday following auction NO EXCEPTIONS. Wire transfer will be required on all purchases over $5000.00. We will also provide a 3% "cash discount" on all transactions if you choose to do a wire transfer. We will also provide this cash discount if you mail in a cashier's check (no personal checks please). All cashier's checks must be received by the Tuesday following the auction.
