Kimber of Oregon Model 82 Super America Bolt Action Rifle

serial #SAH349, 22 Hornet, 22'' barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces retain about 99% original blue with some light handling wear along the high edges and action raceway. The bolt body remains bright. The checkered walnut stock is highly figured toward the butt and rates excellent with a few very light dings and other light handling marks. The stock features a capped pistolgrip, a left side cheekrest and has a Niedner style checkered steel buttplate. Rifle is equipped with a ramp style front sight and has a quarter rib at the rear with folding rear sight and integral mount. The rear factory mount is mounted to the receiver and a set of factory Talley style 1'' rings are included. Also included is a single detachable magazine along with a white factory box which contains a lock and manual, the end label has been removed. The AAA grade checkered walnut stock rates excellent and features a rosewood forend tip, inletted swivels, a capped pistolgrip, a beaded cheekrest and a Niedner style checkered steel buttplate. The wood has some reasonably straight, open grain and a few very light handling marks. A set of factory bases are mounted to the receiver and included are a set of factory Talley style 1'' rings. Also included are a single detachable magazine and a factory box with Styrofoam insert. The box contains the sleeve and a manual, the end labels are no longer present. The metal surfaces of this 1980-made Series 70 MK IV pistol retains about 99% original blue finish with limited minor edge wear and handling marks. The stocks are replacement Hogue double diamond checkered walnut grips that rate excellent and feature a small relief groove by the magazine release. Both panels have a small gap at the butt between the wood and metal. The pistol features a Patridge front sight, Eliasson rear sight and skeleton trigger with overtravel stop to name a few. The gun includes a factory woodgrain box with Styrofoam insert that is correctly end-labeled and numbered to the gun, a single magazine, bushing wrench, Allen wrench, hang tag, manual and other paperwork. The front sight is loose and will require a professional to re-stake it, a common malady with this model. Colt Python Double Action Revolver

serial #V16752, 357 Magnum, 6'' full lug ventilated rib barrel with an excellent bore. This 1978-made Python remains in excellent condition with about 98% original nickel plate showing scattered fine scratches, a few slightly heavier ones around the lower frame, light edge wear to the bluing on the rear sight, a light ding on the cylinder and a turn ring. The un-numbered checkered walnut factory grips rate very good plus with light scuffing along the edge of the butt, a few dents and dings. The gun still times and locks up as good as the day it left Colt and features a Colt Accro adjustable rear sight but the front sight is an altered or replaced factory front sight. The height of the sight was ''regulated'' and the ramp smoothed and filled with white paint. The front sight pin is an ad-hoc replacement and the other shows light impact marks on the pin and rib. The gun includes a factory Python box that is serial numbered and labeled to another Python plus a manual. Also included is a factory letter that indicates this gun, as described above, was part of a seven-gun shipment sent on April 20, 1979 to M&N Distributors of Torrence, California. This New Haven, Connecticut-made pistol retains about 98% original blue finish with light edge wear and lightly cleaned oxidation blemishes, mostly on the barrel. The deluxe checkered finger ribbon Roper style factory walnut thumb rest grips remain in near excellent condition with a few minor handling marks but there is a small shallow chip on the base of the right panel. The slide is correctly numbered to the gun and it includes a single two-tone factory magazine. The action retains 93% original blue with scattered flaking to brown. The bolt retains nearly all of its vivid rich fire blue with some minor operational wear. The walnut stock and forend rate excellent retaining nearly all of their factory varnish with scattered light handling marks from the years. The barrel has a single line caliber marking that reads ''-22 S.L. or L.R.'' and interestingly there does not appear to be a serial number on the triggerguard. The metal surfaces retain 98% original blue with a little silvering at the muzzle and on a couple of the high edges, some scattered light scratches, a small spot of oxidation staining on the front sight and a faint turn ring along the 22 Jet cylinder. The markings on the barrel and frame have been gold washed with some now faded away. The serrated trigger and RF/CF selectable hammer rate excellent retaining 99% of their vibrant case-hardened colors. The diamond checkered walnut target grips rate excellent showing a few minor handling marks. Included is a full set of 22 LR inserts and spare 22 LR cylinder that is numbered to the gun with a few minor apologies in its finish. Colt Second Generation Single Action Army Revolver

This lovely 1959-made Colt retains about 99% original nickel plate with a light turn ring on the cylinder and few stray handling marks. The grips are a gorgeous set of custom burlwood one-piece stocks made by Chris Whisler of southern Ohio and rate excellent. The grips are maker-marked on the inside and simply dated ''2013'' plus they display proper fit and finish as expected from a master craftsman. The gun includes a second set of unmarked two-piece walnut grips with screw and grip pin that rate about good. All parts are correctly serial or assembly numbered to the gun and it functions as well as it did in 1959. This gun does not appear to have seen much use and the grips are a real ''head turner''. The right side is engraved with a portrait of J.M. Browning holding the A-5 and a group of four men outside the J.M. Browning & Bro. store with gold inlay markings ''FINAL TRIBUTE For NorTH AMERICA'' and ''J.M. BROWNING DESIGNER''. The checkered one piece wraparound grips rate excellent with just a couple small marks, the wood grain on the smooth portions have a shiny iridescent look. The barrel on this Belgian-made sporting rifle retains about 99% plus original blue that has no signs of wear and a bright muzzle. The grayed receiver rates excellent and features the factory Grade II pattern engraving which depicts a prairie dog game scene on the left, bushy tail gray squirrels on the right and a flying mallard on top. The scenes are bordered by foliate patterns and the engravers signature ''LEGIERS'' is visible near the bottom of the panel on the left side. The trigger retains all of its original gold plating. The checkered deluxe grade walnut stocks rate excellent and have some light handling marks, the buttstock has some very nice figure. The original sights remain intact. Charles Legiers was a Browning engraver with most of his work being from the late 1950's and early 1960's. The date code puts the manufacture in 1959, well within the period of this artist's work for Browning. A lovely rifle in excellent condition that has the added bonus of the engraver's signature present on his work. (49022-62) {C&R}

The checkered walnut grips are about excellent with a couple flattened points and handling marks. Research indicates all the custom work was done by Lew Sharp and his Army gunsmiths in Fort Benning, GA; they married National Match parts on a Government Model receiver. There are NM 7791435 markings on the slide and barrel, a NM 7267718 bushing and there is a Kensight adjustable rear sight, all indicative of a Service Model NM pistol. The trigger job has been professionally done and the frontstrap has been stippled all the way to the bottom of the triggerguard. (229039-43) {MODERN}
