ANSA Motorcars has provided this 2007 Ferrari F430 Challenge Tribute to NART(North American Racing Team) car to Artceleration TM to be used as a canvas by renowned artist RETNA to create a unique “One of a Kind” piece of Artwork for the Artceleration Event taking place during Miami’s ART BASEL 2015. RETNA’s creation of this Art Car will be one of three cars produced by Three Artists in a limited collection for the Collector and Enthusiast alike. -
About the Artist -
Influenced by Egyptian hieroglyphics and calligraphy from the Middle East and Asia, RETNA is a world-renowned graffiti artist creating highly distinctive and widely collected art. Blending photography with painted graffiti lettering and combining elements of the past, present and future RETNA’s work appears complex, beautiful and captivating. Celebrity commissions have included creating a portrait of Marvin Gaye for Usher, the upcoming album cover of Justin Bieber as well as for Louis Vuitton an original work on the building’s exterior walls, a first for the luxury brand. VistaJet commissioned Retna to decorate the tail fin of the VistaJet Global Express XRS with his signature script. -
About the Car -
This 2007 Ferrari F430 Challenge Car is finished in Red with a black Interior. ANSA Motorsports created this Tribute to NART in their facility out of Carbon Fibre. The Majority of the car is made of custom fabricated Carbon Fiber parts. The rear deck lid, doors, front fenders, hood, front n rear bumper, rear diffuser, side mirrors, dash board are all in Carbon Fiber, leaving only the roof and rear fenders in their original Aluminum. It has approx. 7000km on the Engine and Gear Box. A true lightweight version and one of a kind performance race car.

About the Artist -
Ben Levy - A Pop RebellionBen Levy is a north London based portrait/figurative artist. People are describing Ben's work as pop art with a rebellious twist. He conveys everyday issues that have become fashionable through the press. The general public loves a story so Ben tries to capture political, racial, sexual and many other topics in a comic like scenario using famous faces well known throughout society. His work is extremely quirky and comical. Asked about his work Ben explains, 'I love the fact that as these faces keep on changing along with the stories so can the paintings. Each change, each new feature, a wrinkle or a blemish for example can be added at a later stage, it makes me feel as though the painting is never finished and I love that, it seems corrupt to sell artwork that isn't finished and I think that says slot about the ideas behind my work. Corruption seems to be a very fashionable trait. -
About the Car -
This 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge has been well maintained, and still keeps the Carbon Ceramic brakes, which perform better and reduce unstrung weight. In many cases, these cars are converted to steel brakes in order to gain some economy in the operation, but the owner and driver of this car has not spared on costs to keep it competitive and in great shape. This vehicle was fitted with an Aeromotion front bumper, splitter and rear wing. These enhancements dramatically increased the downforce and handling of the car, making it very competitive at the track. The suspension elements have been kept to factory Challenge specifications, in order to accommodate entering in diverse racing events and fit the regulations. Since 2010 the car has participated in no more than eight sprint races where it performed flawlessly. This 2008 Ferrari F430 Challenge performed extremely well and had podium finishes at Sebring with SVRA, Daytona with CCR and at the Miami 500 at Homestead Miami Speedway.

About the Artist -
Edouard Duval Carrié is a contemporary Haitian artist born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti; and currently lives and works in Miami, Florida. He was educated at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, in Paris, France and at the University of Loyola Montreal, in Quebec, Canada. Duval Carrié works can be found in many private collections worldwide and also in important museums and institutions. Among those: Davenport Museum of Art, Davenport, Iowa, USA; Perez Art Museum Miami, Miami, Florida, USA; Musee des Art Africains et Oceaniens, Pa France; Musee de Pantheon National Haitien, Port-au- Prince, Haiti; Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Monter (MARCO), Monterrey, Mexico. -
About the Car -
This Ferrari F430 Challenge car won the 2007 Ferrari Challenge World Champion Finale at Mugello, Italy. In 2006, the car ran in the Ferrari Challenge Europe Championship and won. After 2007, the car was retired and stored. In 2013, the vehicle was brought to the United States with ANSA Motorcars. The vehicle has been brought out of retirement for this exclusive event. It has been extensively modified by Ferrari to boost its on circuit performance with extensive weight reduction and suspension changes. Just like in previous Ferrari Challenge cars the engine has largely remained the same as on the production road cars except for some enhanced breathing by means of a racing exhaust system and some engine management tweaks and fine blueprinting. Furthermore the body styling has received very few styling changes with the Formula One inspired single central nut (slick shod) BBS wheels hiding enormous carbon brakes.
