Indenture on vellum dated January 20, 1703 between Mattias van Ribber to Christopher Warmer for 50 acres of land in Germantown, Pennsylvania. Reverse of document presents signature of Francis Daniel Pastorius (1651-1720) German educator, lawyer, poet, and founder of Germantown, Pennsylvania. Document measures 10.25" x 12.5" and exhibits some folds (with repairs), toning, and slight edge chip at upper left.
