18" (46 cm.) Pressed and oil painted shoulderhead stitched onto original cloth body, unusual double seam band around the crown, painted brown hair with centerpart, wispy curls at the side of her face and ringlet curls at her nape, defined painted brown eyes with brown eyeliner, fringed brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with extended center line, stitched ears, oil-painted lower arms and legs, painted blue ankle boots, original costume, second costume included. Condition: very good, original painted finish with typical craquelure and rubs on shoulderplate, right wrist repaired. Comments: Izannah Walker, patent model of 1873. Value Points: rare model with especially fine detail of painted hair including ringlet curls at back of head. The doll bears two blue ribbon awards from 1976 and 1977.
