This is the Windmill Weight Auction to End All Auctions. Larry Tremayne's Personal Collection of Windmill Weights.

Samson Stover Windmill (Salesman Sample) Serial No. 1139. The original condition of this piece is very hard to find. We are thrilled to be able to find something something of this unique quality in such complete and exceptional condition. This windmill measures 36 1/4" high and the blades have a diameter 23 1/2". The Samson windmill was made by the Stover Mfg. Company of Freeport, Illinois, USA. This windmill is the exact replica of the large windmill this being a salesman sample and when you spin the blades it produces the same familiar sound that anyone will recognize if you have lived where the wind has powered the large blades.
