2000 CHEVROLET CAMARO INDY PACE CAR CONVERTIBLE

Lot # 1530 (Sale Order: 26 of 201)

This is a 2000 Indianapolis Brickyard 400 Pace Car Camaro SS convertible and #5 of 55 produced. It is signed by Jeff Gordon. Chevrolet provides the cars for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway race each year, and it is difficult to get one with the race-day graphics on it, unless you are there for the race. This car has its original graphics. That year there were 55 cars delivered to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. All 55 Arctic White SS Pace Cars came optioned with a black convertible top, ebony leather seats, 4-speed automatic transmission, ASR traction control system, AM/FM/CD Monsoon 500-watt sound system. Included with these 55 cars were the Preferred Equipment Group 1 and SS Performance Packages, which consisted of a 320hp version of the SLP modified LS1 5.7-liter V8 engine, power door locks, power seats, forced-air induction hood, cruise control, remote keyless entry system with illuminated interior feature, and an anti-theft deterrent system. This Camaro includes an authorization for use of civic event license plate "5C”......, both set of original keys and remotes, parade boots for when the top is down, the original event program, and a notebook of paperwork. The car has been very well kept, as exemplified by the condition of the original race day graphics, as well as the undercarriage which is amazingly clean for a car that is 20 years old.

1950 PLYMOUTH DELUXE CUSTOM COUPE

Lot # 1530.1 (Sale Order: 27 of 201)

The Petty family is one of the most famous names in automobile racing history, and the Lee Petty SPL was built to remember the man who started it all. Lee Arnold Petty (March 14, 1914 - April 5, 2000) was an American stock car racing driver who competed during the 1950s and 1960s. He was one of the pioneers of NASCAR and one of its first superstars. He is also the father of Richard Petty, who went on to become one of the most successful stock car racing drivers of all time. It was built to remember Lee after his passing in 2000. The car was unfortunately left outside in the Las Vegas elements and harsh sun for the last 10 years, but even with the faded paint, the car still boasts the #42 and the Lee Petty name that were hand-painted many years ago. The car does run and drive and had a recent tuneup but because of the Las Vegas elements, it does have some rust in the body and undercarriage. It’......s powered by a 217.8ci 6-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed manual transmission. This car has been displayed at Daytona USA, Daytona Speedway, Pocono International Speedway, and Nazareth National Speedway. **SOLD ON BONDED TITLE** **TITLE IN TRANSIT**
