1955 PONTIAC CHIEFTAIN CUSTOM 2-DOOR POST

Lot # 713 (Sale Order: 131 of 175)      

Known as ?Big Chief 509? this 1955 Pontiac Chieftain was the recipient of a no-expense spared nut-and-bolt frame-off restoration and custom build. It?s powered by a 509ci 8-cylinder roller engine with custom steel heads an 850cfm Holley double-pumper carburetor and a SCAT 9000 crank. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission that turns a Dutchman 9? rear end with 3.55 gears and 31-spline axles. The engine breathes through a custom-made air intake system with Ram tubes air boxes fit with K&N filters and custom-made carburetor hat. It also has a custom-made radiator overflow tank mounted in front of the radiator. Custom headers are attached to a 3? side-exit exhaust system with performance coatings using Flowmaster American Thunder Series 30 mufflers. It also has a custom-built 26-gallon fuel tank. It has a completely boxed frame custom body mounts transmission crossmember and engine mounts. It has a Fat Man Fabrication Stage III front suspension system. Out back is a TCI 4-link rear suspension with a Panhard bar and adjustable coilovers all the way around. The car sits on chrome-plated Torq Thrust II wheels. Tasteful body modifications give this car a clean and simple look such as the smoothed one-piece bumpers and frenched headlights which were raised to the top of fenders and upgraded with Halogen units with integrated amber turn-signal lights. Additional modifications include the deletion of the hood chrome strips wing windows door handles and gas-filler cap which is now behind a swing-out taillight on the drivers side. Modern conveniences include power steering power brakes air conditioning power doors and windows and heated seats.

This is one of 20302 Z/28s produced for the 1969 model year. It has been inspected authenticated and certified by Jerry MacNeish of Camaro Hi-Performance Inc. and it also retains its original Trim Plate. 1970 FORD MUSTANG BOSS 302

This 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 302 has 54893 original miles (mileage not indicated on the title) and is powered by a correct rebuilt 302ci V8 engine with a date-code-correct Ford DOZE service block. The block has been acid-dipped and line-bored with new rods 4-bolt mains and rings. The engine is additionally outfitted with a new Boss 302 cam timing chain and sprockets. It has correct Boss 302 cast-iron exhaust manifolds and engine heads four-core radiator and a factory reproduction dual exhaust system. Power is sent through a rebuilt Toploader 4-speed close-ratio manual transmission with a new diaphragm clutch. The suspension was restored and features an optional 3.91 Traction-Lok axle. Finished in its original shade of Grabber Blue this Boss features Magnum 500 wheels in BFGoodrich radial TA tires rear deck spoiler Car-Lite glass factory dealer-added sport slats and added hood tachometer that has been converted to modern electronics. The mostly original interior features the Deluxe Wood Grain Interior D...cor Group restored AM/FM stereo radio with restored original speakers Quartz clock restored and replaced dash and console bezels dash LED light conversion new carpet and new deluxe door panels. This Boss 302s restoration was completed in 2008. It has been kept in a climate-controlled garage since and driven 1500 miles since its completion. It includes a fleece car cover and AGM battery minder. This 1972 Chevy K5 Blazer recently underwent a 14-month frame-off restoration. It is powered by a rebuilt 383ci V8 stroker engine backed by a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Nothing on this truck went untouched or overlooked during the no-expense-spared restoration. This truck lived a rust-free life in Nevada prior to its restoration. It was completely dismantled prepped and painted in its Medium Red PPG base coat/clear coat. The interior has been upgraded with custom houndstooth upholstery over its original refinished seat frames. The cargo area is finished in reclaimed hardwood with patina steel strips with blind bolts. It is heated and cooled with a new Vintage Air system and has been upgraded with a Bluetooth RetroSound radio and Pioneer speakers. It rides on a new 4 Pro Comp suspension lift and 20 Fuel Vandal wheels wrapped in new tires. This Blazer features all-new body trim brightwork mirrors emblems lights weatherstripping wing windows and bumpers and comes with refinished hardtop.
