1948 MERCURY CUSTOM WOODY WAGON

Lot # 651 (Sale Order: 51 of 227)      

This 1948 Mercury Woody Wagon is one of 1889 produced in 1948. It has been restored from the ground up with less than 3000 miles on the build. All of the wood was professionally restored and the wagon features show-quality paint and body throughout in Seafoam Green. It features all-new glass and seals and show-chromed bumpers. It is powered by a 350ci V8 engine with Edelbrock intake 4-barrel carburetor Sanderson headers and electronic ignition. A serpentine belt system powers all of the accessories. This wagon is equipped with a TH350 automatic transmission upgraded independent front suspension with power disc brakes and rack & pinion steering and parallel leaf springs out back with a Ford 9 differential. The interior has been completely refinished in correct original patterns and materials for an authentic look added carpet with extra sound-deadening and insulation underneath wood-grain dash with restored gauges Vintage Air heating and air conditioning system and a Ron Francis wiring harness with a modern fuse panel and 12-volt operating system. Extra care was taken during this build to keep the body and interior looking stock while upgrading the drivetrain and chassis for a comfortable and reliable driving experience.

1970 CHEVROLET CHEVELLE SS 396 CUSTOM HARDTOP

Lot # 652 (Sale Order: 53 of 227)      

This 1970 Chevelle is an original SS 396 car transitioned to a more modern custom. The SS received a frame-off restoration with many custom modifications including the suspension. The big-block 396ci engine was upgraded and modernized with a super-performance Holley Sniper fuel injection system including a new MSD electronic ignition. The engine transfers power through a rebuilt GM TH400 automatic transmission and a GM 12-bolt 3:31 posi-traction rear end. The custom exhaust includes Hooker competition long tube headers Flowmaster mufflers and an X-pipe. This custom Chevelle is equipped with Wilwood 4-piston disc brakes at all four corners. For the warm months a new Vintage Air Sure Fit Gen IV air conditioning system was installed. The custom Chevelle rides on Ridler custom 18 front and 20 rear rims.

DALE EARNHARDTS 1977 CHEVROLET NOVA RACE CAR

Dale Earnhardt Sr.?s Chevrolet Nova race car built by famed fabricator Robert Gee to compete in NASCAR?s Late Model Sportsman Division competition. Originally Dales Wrangler-sponsored Pontiac Ventura it was converted to a Chevy Nova for better aerodynamics by Dale and brother-in-law Robert Gee Jr. It won at Richmond Darlington Rockingham and others. When Anheuser-Busch sponsored the Busch Series replacing Late Model Sportsman Dale won the first ever Busch Series race at Daytona in 1986 with this car. It was also the first year the Goodwrench Black and Silver paint scheme was used. This car has been vintage raced since the ?90s and is very well-known. It was invited and driven at the Goodwood Festival of Speed three times (2005 2006 and 2009) and was also invited and participated in the 50th Anniversary of Daytona Speedway in 2009. More recently it participated in the 2012 Rolex Monterey Sports Reunion and was on the grass at the 2014 Concours d Elegance at St. Johns. 2014 FORD SALEEN MUSTANG

This 2014 Saleen Mustang Black Label 302SSC is powered by a 625hp 5.0-liter V8 with a Saleen supercharger backed by a 6-speed manual transmission and has 630 actual miles. Serial #15 for 2014 Saleen cars built this example is one of 10 302SSC coupes built in 2014. The dash is signed by Steve Saleen and the car comes with a Saleen build book containing pictures of the build. This modern muscle car was originally purchased new by Valvoline LLC and was used as a promotional vehicle before being placed in warehouse storage. In 2018 it was rediscovered and displayed at corporate employee events. Valvoline LLC has now decided to return the car to the Mustang and Saleen collector community.
