1982 BMW 323i E21 w/Inline 6 Cyl. 2Dr. VGC EURO MODEL

Lot # 1

1982 BMW 323i. Euro model. Starts, runs and drives. Clean title in hand. Good overall condition. Please see all the photos here on Proxibid, and for many, many more photo...mores please cut and paste this link to a gallery: https://gburnsphoto.smugmug.com/323i Be sure to see the video that is located in the Proxibid photo set. Frame and body look very good with very minimal rust. There is one spot of what appears to be a bondo repair on the driver's side front fender near the wheel well. Otherwise I do not see any significant rust aside from a few bubbles and surface rust discoloration here and there. Seats and interior appears original, as does most of the engine and other components. Rear shocks look replaced, and there is also a strut bar in place. Car starts well, runs fine and drives. We drove it only short distances in the parking lot near where it is located but during this time it shifted fine and also went into reverse. We did not operate the sunroof. Remarkably, this car appears to have 235,162 miles, and it does show its age, with wear and or rips to the seats, worn paint and other wear throughout both cosmetically and mechanically. But this is a good honest runner and would be a great base for a restoration, rally or race project. It is locally owned by a man who is now in his late 80s This car was driven and on the road through 2019. It was purchased by this gent in August of 1996. This car will not include a battery. It does have its battery cover, as well as an Alpine system with amp. The spare is present. Like the rest of this car you can see there no rust or deterioration showing under the spare and little rust anywhere else throughout this vehicle. The VIN number is: WBAAH3107C7454719. Payment shall be via cash, wire transfer or a cashier's check. Payment must be made within two days of the close of the auction, or by 5 PM EST on April 16. Once paid for, pickup will be by appointment and must be within 10 days of the close of the auction, or by 5 PM EST on April 24. The car is located in Westerville, Ohio. We will have a preview available on this car on April 14 between Noon at 2 pm. Preview will be by appointment only. To make an appointment call 614-271-3014 ext. 5 or text that number. All preview appointments must be made by 7 pm EST on April 13.

1973 BMW 2002 Tii - Garage Find

Lot # 2

Update: we found the seats and headrests and they are now pictured. A very special find. 1973 BMW Model 2002 Tii. A garage find last on the road in 2002, but in beautiful...more condition. To see all the photos cut and paste this link into your browser: https://gburnsphoto.smugmug.com/Tii Mileage is showing 2,092. It likely has rolled over. This car is white now but was originally Taiga green. Paperwork from when this car was purchased in January, 1996 by its current owner shows that the odometer indicated 000370 (100,370 likely) miles at that time. It is owned by a man who is now in his late 80s. This car appears to be in very good condition, but it is quite dirty from being stored. Body, frame and other metal look very good. There is one paint scuff on the hood, where it appears something was set on the car that scuffed it. Like many cars kept in garages for long periods, it became a shelf where boxes and things were piled. The VIN on this car is 2763783, which identifies this car as a Series 71, made in the first part of 1973. There were 1,302 Tii's made in this run from January to August of 1973, with a grand total of 7,449 Tii cars made ever. We have not messed with this car in any way. The car does not have a battery. Car includes extensive paperwork and records. It was being driven when it was parked in the garage. Clean title in hand. UPDATE: We do have an ignition key. We will take more photos Wednesday. Driver's door was replaced at some point, as ignition key does not match driver's door. Passenger door does match ignition key. We had keys made for ignition and both doors. We don't have a trunk key. It is a real stunner! These are hard to find! The car is located in Upper Arlington, Ohio. We will have a preview available on this car on April 14 between 9:30 am and 11:30 am. Preview will be by appointment only. To make an appointment call 614-271-3014 ext. 5 or text that number. All preview appointments must be made by 7 pm EST on April 13.

1988 BMW M5 E28 -Excellent - Starts, Runs, Drives

Lot # 3

We took many, many photos, see them all by cutting and pasting this link: https://gburnsphoto.smugmug.com/M5 This is it! The one, the only 1988 BMW M5. Clean title i...moren hand. Only 1,238 made for the US. Starts, runs and drives. Body, frame, components all look very clean and very nice. A few rust bubbles here and there, the most significant being on the sunroof area. See the photos. It is extremely clean throughout. Appears original and unmolested. Interior is quite clean as well. Odometer reads 158,237. The car does show signs of wear commiserate with this many miles, such as wear and some fading to paint, and wear to the interior. But nothing beyond what would be expected. Engine idles well and feels strong. Shifts well. There is sometimes a clunking sound upon releasing the clutch when shifting that comes from the driver's side rear, we believe it to be a bad CV joint. You can see in the photos that that CV joint is leaking. Car cycles through the gears well, and goes into reverse without issue. We only drove this car around the lot where it is garaged, so we did not get up to highway speeds. Electrical seems good overall, with lights turning on, signals working although a rear brake light is out, along with a front turn signal. We did not operate the sunroof. The car does not have a battery. It is locally owned by a man who is now in his late 80s. This car was driven and on the road through 2019. It was purchased by this gent in 1994 (Sorry, we had said 1996 previously but actually he bought in '94). Car includes extensive paperwork and records, as well as manuals and more. Even includes its cassette tape as well as a little light that plugs in and charges in the glove box. VIN is WBSDC9306J2875087.
