Renickeled Marlin Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle, #381023, .38-40 cal., 24'' octagon barrel, nickel finish, gold-colored small parts, straight grip wood stock, crescent st...moreeel buttplate, with a Rocky Mountain front and semi-buckhorn rear sight. Condition is good as refinished with approx. 93%-95% nickel and gold colors remaining; nickel was applied over intermittent pinprick pitting. Portions of the frame with spots where the pitting is visible thru the finish. Barrel address, etc. is visible but a little soft around the polished edges. Wood was sanded relatively smooth. Left side of wrist with a deeper bruise, and nearly all of a gloss type varnish remains. Action is crisp, rifling is shallow but overall a really clean bore. Est.: $300-$600. (C&R)

Barrel with two-line address; upper tang reads ''Marlin / Model '97''. Condition is very good. Barrel retains a majority of the original toning blue finish; magazine tube with 98% reblued finish. Frame and lever with a combination hazy darkening patina and approx. 25%-30% case colors, mostly around the edges and screw heads. Barrel address, etc. are clear. Wood has been lightly sanded and is relatively smooth, with an added coat of finish. Forend cap with several scratches and is yellow in appearance having had a lacquer type finish applied. Wood shows age and wear consistent with the rest of the rifle, including general dings and mars. Barrel address is visible. Project Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Saddle Ring Carbine, #399452, .25-35 WCF cal., 20'' round barrel, originally blue finish, straight grip walnut stock, crescent ...moresteel buttplate, blade front sight pinned to fixed base, and a King's elevator rear sight, with saddle ring. Top of barrel and receiver are Winchester proofed. Mfg'd 1907. Condition is fair as incomplete. Metal has been cleaned of almost all of its blue finish, except magazine tube. Receiver with light pitting; upper edge with a few noticeable dings. Replacement wood has been fitted but needs final finishing. Some small screws are missing at the tang, left side of receiver, and rear barrel band. Maker's marks and barrel address are still clear. Action levers nicely, bore with plenty of rifling left but moderately frosted overall. Est.: $200-$300. (C&R)

Condition is good with a small amount of finish remaining between the barrel and magazine tube; balance is a mostly silvery gray with some cloudy darkening. Wood shows age and wear consistent with the rest of the rifle, including a few more noticeable mars to the right side of the buttstock and missing sliver on the forend. Barrel and magazine tube retain a majority of their darkening blue finish; frame approx. 30%-35%. Lever shows 25% case colors, mainly on the flat sides. All metal surfaces with general surface freckling; maker's marks are clear. Buttplate has worn to an overall bright appearance. Wood with scattered surface mars and scratches; an additional coat of varnish has been added. Action is crisp, with a clean near excellent bore; bore is in very high condition for an antique rifle. Late 1940s Winchester Model 1894 Lever Action Carbine, #1537217, .30 WCF cal., 20'' barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock, checkered steel buttplate, dovetailed...more silver bead front sight on ramped base, and sporting elevator rear sight. Top of barrel and frame are Winchester proofed. Mfg'd 1949. Condition is about fine overall retaining approx. 85%-90% factory blue. Most of the finish loss occurs at the bottom of the frame; frame with scattered patches and pinhole-sized spots of oxidation. All maker's marks are clear. Wood with thinning/finish loss near the buttplate and at the wrist; right side at the wrist with a larger dent, otherwise showing general light scratches and wear. Excellent action and bore; bore with sharp rifling. Est.: $400-$600. (C&R)

Stock is fitted with a brown rubber Pachmayr recoil pad and sling swivels. Barrel with a dovetailed front sight on a ramped base; rear sight has been removed and filled with a dovetailed blank. Upper tang with cocking indicator and folding Lyman sight. Receiver ring has been drilled and tapped. Mfg'd approx. 1933. Condition is good. Metal surfaces have at least been partially reblued over numerous small dings and scratches, most likely done some time ago and those areas are clearly visible with a duller type finish. Barrel address, etc. is clear and well defined. Stock has been sanded relatively smooth with a heavy coat of added varnish; highpoints with a few larger gouges. LOP is 12-1/2''; rubber recoil pad is worn. Approx. 15% bright case colors remain in protected areas. Action levers nicely; both the action and bore rate as in excellent condition. Est.: $300-$500. Barrel address, etc. are mostly clear with some thinning around the edges. Frame with a few spots of minor pitting; inside with areas of superficial surface rust. Grips are fine showing mild yellowing from age; right grip with a natural fissure near the medallion. Barrel date code is ''TT'', mfg'd 1948. Metal surfaces are in fine condition and retain approx. 97% factory blue; left side of frame with a few patches of minor surface peppering; triggerguard with slight clouded oxidation. Wood is very good. Buttstock with a triangle-shaped repair at the top edge near buttplate, otherwise showing scattered small surface dents and scratches. Action is crisp with an excellent bore. Winchester Model 1903 Semi-Automatic Rifle, #44936, .22 Win. Auto cal., 20'' barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock, crescent steel buttplate, dovetailed blade f...moreront sight, notched rear sight with adjustable screw. Top of receiver is Winchester proofed. Top of barrel has what looks like a poorly stamped ''(oval)/P)'' proofmark; right side of barrel is marked ''Made in U.S.A.''. Buttstock and forend with the name ''H.S. Gruver'' lightly stamped into the surface a total of 12 times. (Marking was done with some sort of actual stamp and not poorly hand applied.) Forend stamps have lightly thinned from handling or were lightly struck. (H.S. Gruver may indicate Gruver High School located in Texas and could have possibly been a shooting team gun.) Mfg'd 1908. Barrel rates as excellent overall; lettering with clean raised edges, and approx. 98%+ blue remains. Receiver and other metal surfaces retain approx. 75% factory blue with some freckled oxidation and spots of very fine pitting. Wood with moderate darkening in handling areas and along top edge of buttstock showing normal thin scratches and shallow surface dents from handling and use. Action is smooth and tight, bore is excellent. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)

Condition is fine overall retaining approx. 97% factory blue with most of the finish loss occurring to the triggerguard; triggerguard with mild toning. Bottom of pistol grip with unidentifiable symbols scratched into the surface, otherwise wood retains most of the finish and shows general shallow scuffs and scratches; finish with some light wear at the highpoints. Winchester Model 1890 Third Model Pump Action Rifle, #659524, .22 WRF cal., 24'' octagon barrel, blue finish, straight grip walnut stock, crescent steel buttplate, doveta...moreiled patent 1902 front sight, notched rear sight with adjustment screw and 1901 patent date, and Marbles tang sight with '03 and '05 patent dates. Barrel and receiver are both Winchester proofed. Mfg'd 1923. Condition is good. Barrel retains approx. 95% toning blue with clear barrel address. Magazine tube and receiver show only a small amount of remaining blue finish and a mostly brown patina. Forend shows only a few small handling marks. Buttstock with darkening at the wrist and normal age and wear consistent with the condition of the rest of the rifle. Crisp action, good lightly frosted bore. Est.: $300-$500. (C&R)
