Lot of Two (2) 3rd Type British Fairbairn Sykes Commando Daggers: 1.) 6.5'' blade, 11.25'' overall, with a knurled brass handle and dark finish. In a darkened brass tip...more leather sheath. Top of guard is marked ''(broad arrow)B2'' and ''ENGLAND''. Condition is very good with approx. 70% dark finish. Wear to the tip of the blade and knurled portion of the handle account for a majority of the finish loss. Brass shows some flattening to the knurling and spots of light verdigris. Sheath shows general light scuffs and scratches; back seam has split at the stitching and could easily be repaired. 2.) ''FR693'' marked, 7.25'' blade, 11-7/8'' overall, darkened metal finish, with ribbed handle. Knife is marked ''FR693'' on the handle. In original dark brown leather sheath that is marked ''FR271'' on the backside. Condition is fine with most of the dark metal finish present. Handle shows light wear and some tiny nicks to the high edges. Sheath shows moderate wear. Elastic loop is a little loose and stretched out. Est.: $350-$550/lot. (Joe Poyer collection)

Left side of barrel is marked ''LAKE ERI...moreE CHEMICAL COMPANY / CLEVELAND, OHIO''. In good condition as re-nickeled and retains nearly all of its finish. Metal with light scratching and some minor specks of peppering to the surface. Grips fit a little loose with gaps at the adjoining metal surfaces. Action, hammer, and trigger function properly and operate smoothly; bore is very good. 2.) Van Karner Three-Barrel Gas Pistol, #P3749, aluminum barrel and frame, with checker pattern wood grips. Condition is very good. Flat sides of frame with some minor peppering. Maker's marks are sharp and clear. Grips show a few moderate surface dents and scratches. Action is excellent; fine bores. Top of barrel reads ''HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO. / WORCESTER, MASS. U.S.A.'' Condition is very good. Metal surfaces retain most of its blue finish; barrel with scattered tiny specks of pitting. Maker's marks are clear and sharp; serial number is just a little thin in some areas. Wood with a nice oil finish, with some small intermittent shallow dents and scratches. Wrist with a hairline crack that runs from the lower tang and up the right side towards the pistol grip. Action functions properly with a smooth hammer and trigger; bore is fine. Est.: $300-$500.

Approx. 90% of the gray paint finish remains, the balance with spots of oxidation. Brass with some small handling marks. Maker's marks are clear. Grips with scattered small surface dents and scratches, the majority of a semi-gloss varnish remains. Good functioning action and bore; hammer and trigger operate smoothly. Est.: $250-$450.

U.S. Model 1904 Hospital Corps Bolo, by Springfield Armory, with scabbard, 12'' rounded blade marked ''SA/(FLAMING ORDNANCE BOMB)/1911''; reverse is marked ''US/21856''. ...more Overall length is 17.25'', with ''S''-shaped brass guard, finger grooved wood handle attached by three brass rivets, brass ferrule and finished by a brass button at the tip. Leather scabbard by Rock Island Arsenal and is also dated 1911. Condition is very good. Blade with intermittent dark spotting and some light pitting, mainly towards the tip. Blade markings are clear and well defined. Handle with normal light pressure dings and shallow scratches; rear brass rivet with a hairline crack at both sides. Scabbard shows age and wear consistent with the bolo itself; hanger has darkened with spots of light pitting. Leather body with a leather patch repair to the backside; front side near the tip with a spot of cracking and deterioration. Maker's stamp is legible. Stitching and seams are tight. Est.: $150-$300.

Co. 7'' dark blue blade, 12'' overall, guard mar...moreked, with stacked leather washer handle. Knife rates fine overall with approx. 93%-95% remaining blade finish. Leather washers show moderate handling marks. 2.) U.S.M.C. fighting knife, by Camillus, with period leather sheath. 7.25'' parkerized blade, 12'' overall, guard marked, stacked leather washer handle, with a pinned pommel. Knife rates fine with a majority of the original finish remaining. Blade shows moderate rub marks. Keeper strap on the sheath is damaged. Backside with what looks like someone's name scratched off the back, otherwise in good condition. 3.) U.S. Navy Mark I, by Colonial, with a gray U.S.N. MK. 1 scabbard by B.M. Co. 5'' parkerized blade, 10'' overall, with black moulded rubber handle. Knife rates as very good and retains a majority of the original finish. Blade with light scuff marks. Handle shows moderate wear. Scabbard is also very good. 4.) PAL RH35 U.S. Navy Mark 1, with a U.S.N. MK 1 scabbard, by B.M. Co. 5.25'' parkerized blade, 10.25'' overall, stacked leather washer handle with black, yellow, and red spacers, with an aluminum pommel. Knife rates as fine overall. Blade with light surface scuffs and retains nearly all of the original finish. Pommel and stacked leather washers show light handling marks. Scabbard shows normal light age and wear. As is common with these rifles, the wire type follower spring is present but broken. Receiver ring with mum and Japanese ''Type 30'' characters; mum with what looks like an added arsenal (3 circle) stamp in the center. Right side of the stock with the number ''6'' and additional stamped characters (possibly school markings). Numbers are not matching. With the exception of the missing buttplate and broken follower spring, this rifle rates as in very good condition showing normal age and wear for a military issued rifle. Approx. 70% darkening blue finish remains. Metal with some very fine peppering to the surface. Wood shows scattered dings and bruises. Frosted bore with deep rifling. Est.: $250-$350. (C&R)

No serial number on bolt handle, other numbers mismatched. ''18943'' stamped on top of barrel. Brass-tipped cleaning rod appears to be a replacement. Condition overall is very good with approx. 60% of a partially reblued finish remaining on metal surfaces.
