Decorated Jasper Andrew Bishop ( 1836-1923) Delray Ga three gallon decorated churn. This example is around 1880-1900s from Delray Ga. This is a rare example with double wavy comb decoration that started in early North Carolina and was passed all the way to Texas stoneware. The churn is in Albany Slip glaze with a lug and loop handle. The Stamp is very legible. This is fresh churn from a lifetime Georgia collection and will make a fine example in any southern collection. No major chips, no cracks or repairs. It has normal wear glaze flakes and small lug chip nothing major or distracting. Standing 16" Tall
