Due to the size/weight/fragility of this item, it will require a pick up or customer-arranged 3rd-party shipping. We will connect you with reputable transport companies after the auction. This is anincredible, carved American eagle that may have adorned a public or important building like a bank. It stands 29.25" tall with each wing measuring 28". It sits on a rock base with two metal rods protruding from the rocks into the bottoms on the claws. The gray painted wood rock base and the brown wood museum pedestal were made by the last owner 20 years ago just for this eagle. The brown wood pedestal is 40" x14" x14" and hasdeveloped long hairline cracks on all sides. The eagle is made from pieces for the torso, wings and at least couple of the claw talons. It is painted a very attractive muted brown tone paint scheme with traces of gold,silver, and red under the top layers. In spite of the underlying paint colors, none of the paint appears thick with any kind of layering. If there is one repair, it may be the left wing tip. See photos.

This cannon is all steel and has a 11.5" barrel. The caliber is 1.628" or approximately 41mm. (Not quite large enough for a standard golf ball). The barrel weighs 15lbs with overall weight of 23lbs. It isnot marked anywhere and the naval mount has two recesses for the trunion to fit however, recesses are not drilled all the way through. The wick vent is unobstructed and drops in to about 2.25" inside base of barrel. Thesolid steel wheels roll but need some oil. This cannon looks great for display and has nice age to it. With careful consideration, this cannon can function for sound or projectile.

1) Brass cannon display mounted on wood. The cannon, posts and chain are all brass mounted on a wood base. Barrel length: 6". Base is in nice condition with no damage and some finish wear - measures 12" L x 7"W. Totalheight 6-1/2". Weight 4 lbs. A trio of progressively smaller brass cannons. Barrel lengths: 5-1/2" with brass carriage; 3" with iron carriage, marked 1/31 and "MF CO"; 2-1/2" with iron carriage. 2)Indonesian Kris dagger and sheath. Blade measures 10" long. Overall length of piece: 18-1/2". Brass sheath is loose and separates from wooden hilt. The handle of the blade is carved wood with golden and bejeweleddesign [unsure what the particular crystals are]. 3) Solid brass axe [loose] that mounts at the tip of a pole handle. Figure of a monkey or dragon with the blade emerging from its open mouth. Dimensions 4"x 4" x1/2".

It is our opinion this may be a Kriegsmarine helmet. This helmet's remaining paint is more of a gray color than green with some areas being very gray. It has no chinstrap and liner is present with leather in poorcondition because mice got to it. Still has padding felt and full band. The back of inside brim is marked "DM77". Overall all condition is fair but it still has a nice look.

Helmet is from an estate - a front seam, magnesium rim, swivel bale early brass fittings and OD chinstrap. The Colonel eagle appears to be post war and is soldered to front. The shell has been repainted the more OD semi-gloss with most of the early cork texture clearly seen. The liner is marked "D27" over Westinghouse logo with very crude basic liner suspension. This has all the signs of a career officer who used his WWII helmet through the 1950s and 1960s.

Chinstrap is an old replacement and has leather buckle which is marked""CHICAGO". It has WWII era British helmet net. The interior shell sand/paint finish shows very little wear and is in very good condition. Overall condition is good plus - shows age and wear.

This German M38 Paratrooper Normandy camo helmet was extremely well made in the 1990s by a Czech company using machines from WWII. The camo paint is mostly green and tan with some sand mix. The shell shows artificialage, wear, and rust. The inside of back of shell is stamped "CKL71" over "3892". The rim is nicely crimped, The leather liner has faint ink marker marks and in spite of the faux wear to leather, it is still quitesupple and soft to the touch. The gray leather chinstrap is functional and and snaps are marked PRYM 41. The overall look of this helmet is done so well from the markings, paint colors, leather quality, gauge of steel shell, added age, patina and wear. This line of helmets have become collectable in their own right. It is a museum quality post war helmet that is great for affordable display and research purposes and is one of bestexamples of its kind.

This is a lot of 3 helmets and includes 1) M1 helmet is a front seam, steel rim swivel bale with period OD chinstrap. Liner cap badge hole on front and has Westinghouse logo on inside crown. The paint on shell andliner is more of a mint green with much of the original cork finish. It is hard to tell if this is a repaint on not so we will call it a repaint. Liner webbing has some breaks and a OD DSA era neck band sewn (not snapped) into liner. This helmet may have been for a soldier with long service record. 2) WWII French Adrian helmet with full leather liner and chinstrap. One of the chinstrap bales has broken off. 3) WWII British Brodie helmetshell. it is unmarked and has no dents or dings.

This WWII Italian Model 1935 tank helmet is dated 1939 on liner with full Naples marker's ink stamp and ink stamp size 57. But it is our opinion that it is an altered date 1959 The plain black leather body shows somecracks and minor crazing. The two vent screens are intact and the wide black leather chinstrap functions well. Leather neck flaps are pliable and cream colored lining is very soft to touch. Overall condition is verygood plus.

This clothing or department store head is from the 1930s. It has a 1931 patent date and it stands 15" tall and is made of plaster with a hollow core. The painted bust is of a young man in suit and was probably for hatdisplay. It has only one repaired crack to the front left corner and a small amount of very tip of corner missing. It shows some touchup paint to that corner. Overall, it shows age and some wear. It later was used by military hat collector. Great vintage clothing store item.

Helmet was brought back from WWII and came from a Veteran's estate. It appears to be from the Philippines and is one of the high quality wicker made sun helmets. Very finely made from the body to the rim to theheadband. Shows age and wear to top and rim. It is clearly not a tourist sold hat. These were worn by both the native Filipinos and well-to-do foreign visitors. This type of sun helmet is hard to find for sale.

Directly from an estate. It has a gray horsehair plume that may have been added later. The front plate holes sit rather high and seems to have faint outline of Prussian eagle. The best part of this helmet is the fairly complete scale chinstrap with star rosettes. We don't see evidence of at roundels. Front visor is loose and held in place by only the two side rivets. The helmet body is decent and the tin base box with red cover is worn down to tin. The entire helmet is in poor condition and has a foul smell from attic storage. This could be a worthy project helmet with some good parts.

Features headband, netting and burlap camouflage stripes inserted. 2) M1923 ten pocket cartridgebelt. "US" stenciled on right pocket flap."M.C" written in black on flap. No manufacturer markings on belt. Attached is a cut down grenade pouch. 3) Pick cover marked "W.L. DUMAS Mfg. Co. 1944". 4) E-tool. Unmarked. 5) Two enbloc clips loaded with INERT 30-06 rounds for M1 Garand. 6) M1945 field combat pack with attached entrenching tool carrying case. Marked U.S. Dated 1945.

Very well worn US Boonie hat with printed "Viet-Nam" tab under the right brim and Master Sargent patch double pinned to front. It is very used and the metal fitting and snaps are very rusted/corroded - snap for the brim will not connect. Interior has brown plastic headband. A US Army Baseball cap with names and places in Vietnam. It has Japanese Kanji, too. It's in very worn/stained condition. A Union Jack Flag marked "CVA 59"- very worn out and measures 30" x 45" - made of canvas and nylon. Comes with old printout about history of the USS Forrestal. Lastly, 6 pieces of US military pay script bills in very used condition. We think all these items are from the same Vietnam veteran.
