Payment Instructions: We accept credit cards only. A 15% online buyer's premium will be added to all sales conducted by Proxibid and Sales Tax.
Once the auction is complete, you will need to pay for the items awarded to you through the "Pay Now" button on your invoice, available both in the email that was sent to you and within your Proxibid account. Sales tax will be included in your invoice. Any tax-exempt bidders will need to click "Tax Exempt" on the checkout screen and submit their valid tax-exempt certificate using the auto-populated email. Then, Proxibid will remove the sales tax from their invoice and resend it to them (or reimburse them, if they've already paid). The tax-removal process will typically take 1-2 business days.
Once you receive your invoice from Proxibid, you will have 24 hours to pay for your total purchases that includes a 15% buyers fee and Sales Tax (if applicable). It is your responsibility to pay this invoice through this new system by Proxibid within the 24 hours time-frame.
No Credit Cards, Checks or Cash will be accepted at auction site for the purchase of items.

Pickup will be Tuesday, May 7th from 10 am until 3 pm at 315 Eastview Rd, Pelzer, SC. Bring help to load large items. All items MUST be picked up during the above time. The UPS Store may be used in some cases to ship items. If so, the UPS Store will contact the purchaser to arrange shipping and payment for shipping.
Shipping is done through Shipping Saint. If you have marked your invoice to be shipped, an invoice for shipping will be sent via email as soon as your package is boxed and ready to ship. Your items will be shipped when payment for shipping is received through Shipping Saint.
If you prefer another carrier, please contact them to pick up your items to box and ship to you.

Bidding Style is Staggered: Two lots will close 1 minute after the first lot in the auction consecutively. Lots will begin closing at 7PM and continue until the final lot has closed.

Online Bidding Terms:
1. Meares Properties has put forth every effort in preparing the catalog for this auction to provide accurate descriptions of all items. All property is sold 'as-is' and it is the bidder's responsibility to determine the exact condition of each item. Printed statements or descriptions by staff are provided in good faith and are matters of opinion. Absolutely NO refunds will be offered.
2. FOR ONLINE BIDDING: There is a 15% Buyer's Premium added to your total purchase.
3. All accounts must be settled at the conclusion of the auction. We accept major credit cards ONLY. NO CHECKS or CASH FROM ONLINE BIDDERS!
4. Shipping will be handled by Meares Properties - No Shipping on large items. All other items will ship as quickly as possible by FedEx or USPS. PICKUP is available during days and times posted only!
5. If you win an item in the auction, you will be notified by email at the conclusion of the auction or the next business day. The invoice you receive on the day of the auction will be used for billing.
6. In order to better serve our customers, all bidders must provide their name, address, daytime phone number, and email address at which they can be contacted. This is to ensure good communication between Meares Property and the bidder throughout any transactions.
7. The purchaser agrees to pay all reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by the auction company in the collection of funds. The purchaser also agrees that a fee of 2% per month is added to the balance of any unpaid balance due the auction company and any other costs or losses incurred by the purchaser's failure to adhere to these terms. Any debt collection or dispute proceedings will be heard in Greenville County, South Carolina.
8. The auctioneer has the sole discretion to advance the bidding and may reject a nominal advance, should it in his estimation prove injurious to the auction. The auctioneer shall be the final judge in all bidding disputes and shall name a bidder as the purchaser.
9. The auction company shall not be held responsible for any 'missed' bids or bids unseen by the auctioneer.
10. All sales are final.
11. By bidding on any item, the bidder shows acceptance of the terms of the auction.
12. The auction company reserves the right to refuse service or decline registration to any
person.
13. Any item that is not picked up by local bidder(s) within 7 days will be resold and NO REFUND will be issued to the purchaser(s). The money received through the resale of the items will be used to pay storage and handling fees by the Auctioneer.
14. By signing up to bid in our auctions, you are giving Meares Properties permission to add your name and email address to our Mail Chimp List for future emails sent to you for our upcoming auctions.
All announcements made the day of auction take precedence over any and all written, verbal or electronic statements.
