Item Details
(American 1888 - 1969) Oil on canvas winter landscape scene featuring partially frozen pond with distant farmhouse & hills. Unframed. Signed 'W. Lester Stevens' LR SIZE: 16"" x 19"" CONDITION: Very good overall. painting would benefit from a clean BIO: Categorized as a Boston school traditionalist, Stevens used heavy impasto in oils for his landscape scenes from the New England area. His art is sought after especially in the East Coast. He was considered a proficient and established artist of the 20th Century.
