Antique Factory Engraved Colt Single Action Army Revolver, #117605, .45 Colt cal., 4.75'' barrel, engraved nickel finish, faux ivory grips inscribed ''John F. Barnard'' to right panel. Originally shipped August 21, 1886, in a 12-gun shipment to Hartley & Graham, New York, NY, with all features verified by factory letter, except for grips which were originally listed as wood. Condition is very good to near fine as renickeled, showing some over-buffing specifically to barrel address (no longer visible) and cylinder. Grips are certainly interesting and show well. Good action and bore. Est.: $4,500-$6,000. (Antique)
