A Italian Vetterli M1870/87/15 rifle that was originally manufactured in 1883 and converted to 6.5 Carcano during WWI. Rifle is marked "P.B" on the top of the barrel shank with the left side marked "Torre Annunziata" and "1883". Blued finish is worn with age but is in overall good condition. Rifle has worn wooden stock with serial number and another number beneath it as well as a faded cartouche. Rifle has repaired crack around magazine housing. Bore has strong rifling with some pitting in the grooves. See photos. SN VV3612
