Moore's Patent Single Action Belt Revolver, #7622, .32 RF cal., 4'' barrel, blue steel barrel and cylinder, silver-plated and engraved brass frame, backstrap and triggerguard, with one-piece walnut grips. Top of barrel marked ''Mf'd for Smith & Wesson by Moore's Patent Firearms Co.'' Condition is very good with traces of blue finish now toning brown to barrel and cylinder. Frame retains approx. 30% of its original silver finish. Barrel hinge screw and one triggerguard screw are later replacements. Right side of grip with some losses and moderate impressions. Good action and bore. Many were known to have been privately purchased by Union soldiers and officers and carried during the Civil War. Est.: $450-$650. (Antique)
