serial #35550, .36 cal., 7 1/2" octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. This civilian model revolver is in very nice condition. The barrel shows proper, crisp barrel address and retains about 85% bright original blue. The loading lever retains about 95% bright original blue and the cylinder is perhaps 90 - 95%. The frame has flaked to an even smooth brown patina with generous traces of bright original blue in places. The triggerguard shows 95% original silverplated finish which has taken on a rich pleasing blue tarnish. The two-piece walnut grips rate excellent with 97% original varnish remaining. The butt has a lightly scratched social security number, this is light and quite unobtrusive. A very handsome New Model Navy for the Remington collector. (19362-1) {ANTIQUE} [Edward W. Marron, Jr. Collection] (2000/3000)
