19th Century bowie knife marked 'Ed. Pecher & Co. Birmingham & Sheffield', with 'Mercurio' (Mercury) logo and trademark portrait of ancient Greek God. 13" blade with stag grip and German silver mounts. Original thick leather scabbard with button hanger. 17 1/2" overall. Good condition with minor pitting, slight sharpening along with normal wear and use. South American or Mexican market during Frontier Era.
