In excellent overall condition. Cross guard fittings appear to be chrome plated aluminum. Wusthof was one of a small handful of makers that used aluminum fittings in 1938. Brown finish pearwood grip exhibits moderate period wear. High neck aluminum grip eagle exhibits crisp detail. Mirror bright double edge steel blade exhibits light scabbard runner marks and a few small age spots at the tip. A lot of the original factory cross graining is strongly evident. Dark brown painted scabbard body is dent free with chrome plated fittings. The dagger blade fits snugly and flush to the bottom of the cross guard. Crisp etched maker mark.
