Smith double with matching extra barrel set - shotgun - 26"/30" rnd, concave matte solid rib barrel - Beavertail checkered walnut forearm with case hardware and serrated push button release, accompanying a English style checkered walnut stock equipped with a brown White Line Pachmayr recoil pad - forearm has a hairline crack running horizontal with forearm on left side and few minor handling marks, while stock has .5" hairline crack to each side of wrist - retains about 80% vivid case to receiver with greatest loss to bottom front of frame balance to soft grey patina - retains about 97%+ blue finish to trigger guard with loss to sharp edges - barrels retain about 98%+ blue finish to barrels with loss to muzzle and sharp edges of rib, possibly professional reblue - few areas of light surface pitting to barrels - Markings: crisp & legible- engraved receiver of wildlife fowl scenes on lock plates, light scrollwork with simply line designs and "L.C. SMITH" in block letters - water table marked with patent dates of July 60 & 5-66 - Sights: dual white bead sights - hammerless - double triggers - tang safety - top-break lever - tang mounted automatic safety - to include a Hunter Arms Co. of Fulton, N.Y. matching extra barrels complete with forearm; 30" SxS barrels with solid concave matte rib - both barrels retain about 98% blue finish with very little visible wear - sights are of white bead at front and mid-barrel - barrels marked with serial # "201967/3E", as well as Nitro proof steel trade mark - barrel assembly complete with walnut Beavertail forend with serrated push release - forearm checkered with in a "W" design - forearm marked with matching serial number and grade - forearm hardware is finished in case, however appears muted and balance to soft grey patina, hardware is finalized with engravings of scrollwork and single line designs - overall condition of extra barrel set and forearm is Excellent with Excellent bright and shiny bore, forearm wood Excellent condition with very little visible wear - Estate of Dr. Fred J.
