Lot of Five (5) Rare Original Civil War GAR Enameled Funeral Mourning Medals on black ribbons, one marked mfg'd by ''The Henderson Ames Co., Kalamazoo, Mich., U.S.A.'' Lot also includes two (2) GAR black In Memoriam ribbons, one named to A.H. Terry/Post No. 20/Tampa, FL, with fringe, and one named to L.L. Mitchell/Post No. 84/G.A.R./St. Cloud, Fla. Plus three large medallions, one marked ''Battle of Antietam/Sharpsburg'', ''In Memoriam/U.S. Grant/1822-1885'', and ''We Drank from the Same Canteen/1861-1865/Fraternity./Charity/Loyalty''. And a gold/black/blue enameled suspension bar marked ''G.A.R./Department/R.I./Post 15'', with elaborate drop marked HOPE with ship's anchor. All items remain in very good condition for their age. Ribbons with only minor fraying. Est.: $350-$500/lot.
