Item Details
This appears to be an early Ka-bar with a blued blade. The blade shows sharpening, age, and use. The USMC marking is partially rubbed away on the right ricasso. The left ricasso is marked Ka-Bar Olean, NY. The blade does show some light pitting, but is sharp and has a nice point. The handle if five groove and shows use, age, carry, and wear, but no major dings or gouges. Everything is nice and tight. The leather scabbard has staples and stitching. The handle snap is missing and the leather strap is broken. The scabbard is lightly stiffened, but holds the knife well.
