Original Oil on Canvas Painting by Listed Artist Nina Davidson

Lot # 23 (Sale Order: 23 of 314)

This Listed Artist, Nina Davidson, Oil on Canvas Painting captures nature, with its undisputable beauty, in an amazing depth that most paintings cannot achieve. The lamp attached to the top casts the perfect shadows, bringing this scene to life. The lower right hand corner is signed “Nina Davidson, 1918“. The painting is in good overall condition, with amazing depth. There appears to be, what may be a repair, across the center of the painting, as shown in the photos, but it is disguised among the intense depth throughout the rest of the piece. I have not taken off the heavily mounted backing to verify if this is a repair, or simply part of the piece. The frame has minor paint issues found in the upper right side of the frame, as shown in the photos. The measurements are as follows; 45” H, 32”W and the light is 8” D, 15¾” L. ...more
