Item Description: Translate description
by artist "Olaf Carl Wieghorst" depicting a western scene and named "The Boys in the Bunkhouse". Numbered 535/850 on the lower left and hand-signed on the lower right. Wieghorst was born in Viborg, Denmark in 1899 and died in 1988. His work was represented by the Grand Central Art Galleries of the Biltmore Hotel. In 1944, he settled in El Cajon, California. His paintings include cowboys, horses, and Indians in landscape. He painted celebrity horses including Roy Rogers' Trigger, Gene Autry's Champion and Tom Morgan's stallion. Frame measures 33" wide x 26 1/2" tall. Doubled matted. Very good condition with small tears in the paper backing. No Certificate of Authenticity. Limited Edition. Collectible.
