South Asia, India, Mughal Empire, probably 16th-18th century. Huge Indian Torador matchlock wall gun of large scale with a brown stock. Round thick barrel with some carved bands to the muzzle. Original ramrod with octagonal end. The Toradar wall gun is a South Asian matchlock firearm that was primarily used in the Mughal Empire as early as the 16th century. Size 77" L, barrel 57" L. Condition: old repairs and wear commensurate with age and use. Provenance: Ex-Southern California Collection
