Item Description: Translate description
DESCRIPTION: Undated. Serial number 20M282 (marked on crossguard). Marked USN with anchor along with inspector's initials "DR" on ricasso. Daniel Reynolds (initials DR) was responsible for inspecting a substantial amount (if not all) of the model M1860 cutlasses produced at Ames Manufacturing Company. His initials can also be found on the pommel. Sword is also marked with the desirable Ames scroll trademark on reverse side of ricasso. Blade length: 25-7/8". Overall length: 31-5/8". CONDITION: Good. Missing scabbard. No hand guard. Does not have a wire wrapped handle. Areas of spotting/rust on the blade. MEASUREMENTS: Overall length: 31-5/8 ESTIMATE: $100-$200
