Lot includes Navy blue wool dress "Cracker Jack" pant, US M1A2 11 noncombatant gas mask with pouch, Union Cap Co. M19097 Army cold weather cap, dated 1941, size 7 1/2". new, unissued condition, pair of Army cavalry Jodpur M1908 riding pants, OD pile cold weather cap with fur lined flaps, can be worn under helmet, sterling USAAF pilots wings, enlisted cap badge, USAAF cuff links, 2 Pacific campaign ribbons, single 2nd Lt's bar. These items are accompanied with several historical artifacts, including a 1942 Pocket Guide to Australia from the War and Navy Departments, a newspaper clipping from the Guinea Gold, 'In the Field' edition of March 25, 1944, "The First Was First" by Capt. Harold D. Steward, "The Story of the First Cavalry Division" printed at Santo Tomas Universityh Press, Manila, Philippine Islands, March 1945, a paper from the El Paso Herald-Post, dated June 7, 1944 with the headlines, "Eisenhower Reports 'Progress' INVADERS ADVANCE; MORE AIR TROOPS POUR INTO FRANCE", El Paso Times showing "Yankee Road Sign In Tokyo - 1st Cavalry Division", a newspaper called YANK, published from 'Down Under' on December 3, 1943 and more.
