WWII USAAF Named and Attributed Bomber Crewman D-Day Participant, 1st Scouting Force and Pilot Groupings. (1) D-Day Bomber Crewman Grouping. Named to Staff Sergeant Billy M. Greer, 17016095 of the 553rd Bomb Squadron, 386th Bomb Group, 8th/9th Air Forces. Grouping includes Five Year Diary with June 6 D-Day entry detailing air operations, post war dog tags, named Air medal, ETO medal, unnamed wrap brooch Air medal, and a copy of the "The Story of the Crusaders - The 386th BG in WWII" Book - Greer is listed on page 155. And more. (1) WWII - Cold War USAAF/USAF Pilot Grouping. Attributed to Major Thomas Morgan Segrest, 20420323 / AO749080. Grouping includes unnamed Air medal, 3" unmarked Pilot Wings, WWII Victory, National Defense, Good Conduct and American Defense medals, ribbon bar, Captain rank insignia, post War named Dog Tags and biographical research documents. (1) USAAF 8th Air Force 1st Scouting Force Pilot Grouping. Attributed to 2nd Lieutenant William D. Hall, O768082. Grouping includes ribbon bar, sterling LGB 3" Liaison Pilot wings, two unmarked 3" Pilot Wings, officer rank, P-51 Service Manual, typed stories of Hall's adventures and more.
