Terms of Sale Harris Estate Services, LLC - Terms & Conditions - Timed Online Auctions 1. GENERAL --- It is the bidder's responsibility to evaluate all aspects of authenticity, originality, condition and imperfections before bidding. Although we make every effort to describe all items accurately, Harris Estate Services, LLC is not responsible for errors or omissions in description, genuineness or authenticity, and fault or defect in any property. All property is sold as shown, described and “as-is” --- No warranties or representations whatsoever are given by Harris Estate Services, LLC to any buyer in respect to any property. --- Harris Estate Services reserves the right to add or delete lots throughout the auction. --- Harris Estate Services reserves the right to decline bidding registration to any person or entity. --- Disputes are heard in Greenville County, South Carolina. 2. PREVIEW --- NO preview will be held for this auction event. You may contact us with any questions / requests at 864-238-2942 (text preferred) or by email at harrisestateservices@gmail.com. 3. BUYER'S PREMIUM --- Unless otherwise noted in a particular lot's description, a buyer's premium of 15% shall be added to each sold lot's winning bid hammer price. 4. AUCTION RESERVES --- Whether on not a reserve price is indicated for the lot, all lots are offered with reserve and auctioneer may withdraw any lot at any time until the lot is sold. --- The auctioneer may advance bidding. 5. INTERNET BIDDING --- Harris Estate Services LLC is not responsible for internet connection problems or auction platform (Proxibid or LiveAuctioneers) issues that cause missed bids. Bidders who desire to make certain their bid is accepted should use the maximum bid feature and leave their maximum bid at least 24 hours before the auction ends. --- Bids placed within the last few minutes of bidding will reset the remaining bidding time several minutes just for that lot being bid on. 6. WINNING BIDDER NOTIFICATION --- The bidder submitting the highest bid shall be the winning bidder and will be notified by email. --- The record of sale, as kept by the auctioneer, will be taken as absolute and final. 7. FORMS of PAYMENT --- Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express , and cash money are accepted. A bank wire transfer is required for payments over $2,000. --- Checks, money orders, Paypal, Venmo or other forms of payment will not be accepted without prior approval by Harris Estate Services, LLC in writing at least two (2) days before the auction event ends. SALES TAX --- Sales tax will be automatically determined and calculated at the time of invoicing based on a variety of factors including: State, City & County jurisdiction requirements, ship to/from addresses and category of item purchased. --- Bidders with a resale tax number must register that number with the auction platform (Proxibid or LiveAuctioneeers) in order to have sales tax removed from the invoice. 9. AUCTION CHECKOUT --- Winning bidder will receive a detailed and itemized invoice by email soon after the auction closes. --- The PICKUP LOCATION for this event is 921 Tanner Rd., Taylors, SC 29687. --- Winning bidder PAYING WITH CARD should use the checkout feature associated with the invoice to make payment. Bidder is responsible for paying any card processing fees charged by the auction platform. Card payment must be made 24 hours prior to picking up your property. We do not accept card payments at pickup. PICKUP TIME for card payments is Tuesday, October 28 from 3-5 PM. A bidder picking up after the scheduled paid property pickup time will incur additional charges. --- Winning bidder desiring to make a CASH PAYMENT must provide name and paddle number to Harris Estate Services by text message at 864-238-2942 by 9 AM the day after the auction closes. PICKUP TIME for cash payments is Monday, October 27 from 3-5 PM and Tuesday, October 28 from 3-5 PM. A bidder picking up after the scheduled paid property pickup time will incur additional charges. --- We will contact you after auction ends by phone and by email to arrange for BANK WIRE PAYMENT for purchases totaling over $2,000. --- If notification from winning bidder of bidder's intention to make cash payment is not received by 9 am the day after the auction ends and if card payment has not already been made, then Harris Estate Services, LLC will charge the card on file. 10. NEED FOR TIMELY PAYMENT --- Property not paid for within 72 hours of auction close shall be deemed “unpaid property” and, in that case, winning bidder forfeits the unpaid property. 11. PAID PROPERTY PICKUP --- Property identified as "LOCAL PICKUP ONLY" in the description will not be shipped and must be picked up at the pickup location given above. --- Winning bidder is responsible for packing supplies and for packing and loading all property won. --- Winning bidder is responsible for providing suitable help to move and load heavy, bulky items of property won. --- Harris Estate Services LLC is not responsible for damage that may occur to property at pick up. 12. SHIPPING --- We will coordinate shipping for you once the invoice for purchases is fully paid. --- We attempt to provide economical shipping costs and will contact you with your shipping & insurance quote before your property is shipped. --- You will make a separate payment for shipping AFTER full payment is made for your auction purchases. --- Generally shipping takes 6-7 business days, but shipping time may vary based on the type and number of items. --- Property identified as "LOCAL PICKUP ONLY" in the description will not be shipped and must be picked up at the pickup location given above. --- The winning bidder may also arrange shipping for any lot(s) won. In that case, you must arrange to have your shipper pick the property up during the PAID PROPERTY PICKUP period given in the auction listing and on the invoice for the auction event. Additional charges may apply if that schedule is not met. 13. REMOVAL of PROPERTY --- Unless other arrangements are made with Harris Estate Services beforehand, paid property must be removed from the sale premises no later than 72 hours following the close of the auction event. Property not removed shall be deemed abandoned by winning bidder and winning bidder forfeits any right to the property. --- Harris Estate Services, LLC shall have no liability for any damage or loss to property left on the sale premises for more than 72 hours following the close of the auction event. 14. AGREEMENT TO TERMS of SALE and CONDITIONS of Auction Event --- Your bidding at this Auction event indicates that you have read and accept these Terms of Sale and Conditions of this Auction Event.
