Group of 2 United States Mint Set in Original Government Packaging! From 1987-1988 with 20 Coins Inside!. Group of 2 United State Mint Set from 1987-1988 included ...morea total of 20 coins. Each set comprised of Lincoln Cents (P, D), Jefferson Nickels (P, D), Roosevelt Dimes (P, D), Washington Quarters (P, D), Kennedy Half Dollar (P, D) plus two tokens bearing large letters “P” and “D” representing the Philadelphia and Denver Mints. Envelopes for the 1987 mint set were brightened up from prior years, with white and red colors separated by a blue stripe. The US Treasury Department logo appears on the upper portion with “The United States Mint”, “1987 Uncirculated Coin Set”, and “with D and D mint marks” on the lower portion. The 1988 sets were packaged in two separate cellophane packs. The Philadelphia Mint coins were sealed in one pack with a blue border, while the Denver Mint coins were sealed in another with a red border. Along with a certificate of authenticity, the packs were placed into an outer envelope illustrated with images of the year’s coins.

Group of 2 United States Mint Proof Sets 1981-1982 11 coins

Group of 2 United States Mint Proof Sets 1981-1982 11 coins. Group of 2 United States Proof Sets 1981-1982 12 coins. Each Set contains 6 coins Lincoln Cent, Jeffer...moreson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Washington Quarter, Kennedy Half Dollar, and Susan B. Anthony Dollar. All coins were minted at the San Francisco mint and carried the “S” mint mark. The proof coins are commonly found with attractive black and white deep cameo finishes. The 1981 set had not been check for type 2 coins, 1981 Susan B. Anthony Type 1 trend ms69 $20 and type 2 trend ms69 $160. The packaging for the Proof Set was changed from the prior year. The primary plastic holder was smaller in size and the coins were no longer sealed in separate compartments. The coins were placed within slots of an internal red plastic piece, which was sealed between two clear plastic pieces. A black plastic sleeve slid over the plastic holder and could serve as a stand. The outer cardboard box was also changed. It had a single opening at the top for the main holder to slide into.

Each Set contains 10 coins, Sacagawea Dollar,...more Kennedy Half Dollar, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. Along side the State Quarters honoring New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky, tennessee, Ohio, Louisiana, Indiana, and Mississippi. The dollar, half dollar, dime, nickel, and cent were sealed in one plastic lens, with the five State Quarters in a separate lens. These two lenses were placed in a cardboard box with an image of the Statue of Liberty and a blue color scheme. The outside of the box indicated the contents.

In 1886, the people of France gifted to the American people a statue that ...morehas become known the world over as a symbol of Liberty. To honor this centennial, France caused to be issued a 100 franc with a rendition of the Statue of Liberty. This variety is the Piedfort strike. It is twice the weight and thickness of the regular coin, thus twice the raw silver content.

1953A $2 Red Seal United States Note Grades vf++. 1953 red print two dollar bills can be broke up into four different types by signature combination; 1953 – Ivy Ba...moreker Priest (Treasurer of The United States) and G.M. Humphrey (Secretary of the Treasury), 1953A – Ivy Baker Priest and Robert B Anderson, 1953B – Elizabeth Rudel Smith and C. Douglas Dillon, 1953C – Kathryn O’Hay Granahan and C. Douglas Dillon. 1953 two dollar bills feature Thomas Jefferson as the central figure. The back of the bill shows Monticello. These were printed in Washington DC and circulated across the country. They have red overprints and a red seal on the right hand side of the bill. You can find the following phrases on the bill: “Two Dollars, United States Note, The United States of America will pay to the bearer on demand Two Dollars” “This note is a legal tender at its face value for all debts public and private”
