Lot # 89 (Sale Order: 60 of 741)

***Auction Highlight*** 1836 Block 8 Head of 1837 HM-8 Classic Head $2 1/2 Gold Graded ms61+ By SEGS. 0 A charming butter-gold representative without consequential c...moreontact. The strike is slightly incomplete in the centers, but the remainder of the coin is well-defined. Block 8 two-and-a-halves were coined only in 1835 and 1836. The Guide Book separately lists Script 8 and Block 8 varieties for the 1836 quarter eagle, but ignores the distinction on 1835, 1836, and 1837 half eagles.

Lincoln Wheat cent 1c Orig Brandt McDonalds roll, 1909-s end, VDB other end

Lot # 93 (Sale Order: 64 of 741)

Lincoln Wheat cent 1c Orig Brandt McDonalds roll, 1909-s end, VDB other end. Lincoln Wheat cent 1c original Shotgun Roll, 1909-s on one end, VDB reverse on the oth...moreer. Actual roll pictured is the roll you will get. A great original bank shotgun roll with very tight ends. From the feedback we have been receiving, people are happy with these rolls, nearly half the roll seems to be teens, all the rolls have a few Indians, most of the rolls have some steel cents, and a lot of the wheaties are mintmarks. These shotgun rolls are all from a new consignee. They are all frrom one Estate. This particular Roll shows a 1909-s on one end and a VDB reverse on the other end.

Lot # 95 (Sale Order: 66 of 741)

***Auction Highlight*** 1859 Seated Liberty Dollar $1 Graded pr65+ cam By SEGS. Fully struck and satiny in texture, the devices offer cameo contrast to the mirrore...mored fields in the absence of all but the lightest gold and silver tinting. The Guide Book suggests a Proof mintage for this early date Liberty Seated dollar of just 800 pieces, though certainly far fewer are known today. The present specimen would make a grand addition to a type set or an early dollar set. A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation

Military Payment Certificate (MPC) Series 641 $10 Grades xf

Lot # 96 (Sale Order: 67 of 741)

Military Payment Certificate (MPC) Series 641 $10 Grades xf. Military payment certificates, or MPC, were a form of currency used to pay U.S. military personnel in ...morecertain foreign countries. They were used in one area or another from a few months after the end of World War II until a few months after the end of U.S. participation in the Vietnam War – from 1946 until 1973. MPC utilized layers of line lithography to create colorful banknotes that could be produced cheaply. Fifteen series of MPCs were created. However, only 13 series were issued. The remaining two were largely destroyed, although some examples remain. Among the 13 released series a total of 94 notes are recognized.

Lot # 97 (Sale Order: 68 of 741)

***Auction Highlight*** 1800 JR-2 Draped Bust Dime 10c Graded vf30 By SEGS. From a small mintage of 21,760 pieces, the 1800 Draped Bust dime is an elusive, underra...moreted issue. Two varieties are known for the date. This Choice VF coin is an example of the rare JR-2 variety, characterized by the Wide A's in the reverse lettering. Although wear shows on all the devices, much original detail remains intact. Charcoal and russet tones compete with silver-gray toning on pleasing surfaces.
