WELCOME TO THE AUCTION

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 1 of 2032)

Just to Reiterate from our terms and conditions: I do my best to estimate the grade/condition of the coins, but please note, unless specifically mentioned in the descrip...moretion, I do not guarantee grade or condition. I DO ALWAYS GUARANTEE 100% AUTHENTICITY, on an immediate buyback including any premium paid. But please understand, if you win a coin and receive it and send it out to one of the grading companies and it comes back graded less than I estimated or "genuine but Ungradeable", we will not buy back that coin. No refunds will be issued. Please understand this and look at the large pictures and make your own decision on the grade/condition. I do my best to give you my best estimate and your repeat attendance at my auctions is what I strive for, so I always attempt to give my best description/estimate of the coins being auctioned.

August 1 1934 $1 School Scrip, Depression Scrip, Atlantic County, NJ Grades NG

Lot # 2403 (Sale Order: 3 of 2032)

August 1 1934 $1 School Scrip, Depression Scrip, Atlantic County, NJ Grades NG. Depression scrip was a product of the Great Depression, a result of rampant bank cl...moreosures and civilian bank runs causing a lack of circulating currency in the early to mid 1930s. In order to plug the gap, local currencies came into significant circulation again for the first time since the civil war (and prior to that, the colonial era). Hundreds of forms of depression scrip existed, in both paper currency and circulating coins/tokens. They could be issued by municipalities, county governments, corporations or banking institutions.

Group of 2 United States Mint Proof Sets 1998-1999 14 coins

Lot # 2407 (Sale Order: 5 of 2032)

Group of 2 United States Mint Proof Sets 1998-1999 14 coins. Group of 2 United States Proof Sets 1998-1999 14 coins. 1998 Set contains 5 Proof Coins, the Kennedy H...morealf, Washington Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel, and Lincoln Cent. Each coin was struck at the San Francisco Mint and carried the “S” mint mark. The packaging for the 1998 Proof Set use the green themed format. The coins were placed into individual slots of a green cardboard holder and sealed in a single lens. The holder was placed in a green card board box within silver printing and a single opening at the top. The 1999 Proof Set began the State Quarters era. Starting this year, five different quarter designs were released annually to honor each of the 50 states in the order they ratified the Constitution or joined the Union. Each set contains the five State Quarters honoring Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Georgia, and Connecticut. Completing the set were the 1999-dated Lincoln Cent, Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, and Kennedy Half Dollar. All coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint and carry the “S” mint mark. The packaging for the 1999 Proof Set was redesigned to accommodate the additional coins. The cent, nickel, dime, and half dollar were sealed in a single lens with a decorative blue insert. The five State Quarters were sealed in a separate plastic lens. The two lenses were packaged with a certificate of authenticity in a cardboard box with the Statue of Liberty featured prominently.
