YOUR BID shall be conclusive proof that you have made yourself acquainted with these conditions and those stated in Information and Special Terms and you have agreed to be bound by them. We encourage and welcome any and all questions BEFORE placing a bid, as ALL SALES ARE FINAL and all items are sold as-is, where-is. Please call or email if you desire additional photos or description.
Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. We do not and cannot guarantee nor warranty the authenticity of any item. For each item we bring to auction, it is bidder responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, or any other determinative factor; we make no representations to any aforementioned criteria, and all titles and descriptions are statements of opinion. In no event shall we be responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Each item has multiple detailed photographs and are described as what we see and Consignor opinion; please use your own expertise when bidding. We encourage you to ask if you seek further clarity.
PAYMENT: Invoices are sent to winning bidders via email immediately following the sale. Your credit card on file will be processed for payment for your purchases within 24 hours of the end of sale. Please ensure the account number and expiration date is accurate and the card can bear the weight of your purchases. Issues with payment may result in a suspended account with us and with the bidding platform. After 48 hours post-sale and three processing attempts, declined credit card holders will be additionally charged a re-listing fee of $50 or 20% of the balance due, whichever is greater. USPS money orders or checks (which must clear before item is released) are also accepted when postmarked by the day following the sale; mail to/payable to: LEGACY AUCTION, PO BOX 224, EFFORT PA 18330
SHIPPING OR PICKUP: Pickup in person for any item is welcomed; if you wish to arrange pickup, please contact us within 24 hours following the sale. Otherwise, all non-firearm/ammo items are shipped through The UPS Store, Mt. Pocono, PA, at buyer expense. The UPS Store will contact winning bidders directly in the days after the sale for delivery timing and payment. The UPS Store will provide an estimate of the shipping cost at your request. The UPS Store professionally packages, insures, and ships your valuables. They are a third party shipper. Quality packaging and shipping is not inexpensive, and we have no control over prices charged for these services. Any questions regarding items to be shipped via The UPS Store should be directed to them. Items will be delivered to The UPS Store within 2-3 business days following the auction. Shipping by UPS will start the week of May 22nd. Winning bidders may pick up items they do not want shipped at The UPS Store, however items cannot be picked up there until on/after Saturday, May 20th.
FIREARMS: BATF rules and regulations strictly followed. FFL Licenses must be emailed to: rich@bidlegacy.com to start shipping process. Firearms will START to ship on May 23rd. Shipping is not required, however no firearms may be picked up until Tuesday, May 23rd. Firearms may be picked up and legally transferred at our Brodheadsville, PA 18322 location by appt. only. Gun transfers are $15 cash per firearm when performed by us. Firearms have not been test fired; have a qualified gunsmith inspect each firearm before firing. KNOW YOUR STATE AND LOCAL LAWS regarding certain firearms that are allowed an/or banned. It is the buyers responsibility to know these laws before bidding. Shipping charges include all handling, new long gun box, and the first $200 of insurance; items needing higher insurance coverage, or any special packaging, i.e. extra long barrels, extra weight, will be added over standard shipping fee. Handguns: $30 East of the Mississippi River, $35 West. Long guns: $45 East, $50 West. CA, OR, WA, HI and AK will likely be higher shipping fees due to distance.
AMMUNITION: Ammo is packaged by Legacy Auction and shipped within the USA through UPS GROUND. In addition to the UPS cost for your package, a $4 handling fee per address label will apply.
TITLED VEHICLES: Title transfer service for such items is at buyer expense.
